THBImage SDK v5.0.3.1 - Multi layer raster and geometry viewer
It’s a big step forward in terms of performance and features.
THBImage can now display tiles of vector or raster image data. You will get something similar to Google Maps, or Microsoft Map.
You can stack multiple layers of raster, vector and geotile layers over each other allowing you to implement nearly unlimited ways to show your raster and vector data.
You can not only view them, you can interactively select geometry objects or add new annotation objects, save and load them to your harddisk.
This works local or over the web.
We improved transparent drawing and can now draw layers transparent.
This means you can add multiple raster or geotile layers to THBView and change the opacity of each layer separately.
Now you can use transparent Symbol pictures for point vector geometry objects.
Concurrent programming, multicore programming, parallel computing however you call it, we do it. Our drawing operations are now optimized for 2 cores.
We will take the challenge and are exited about the next generation of 8 core machines entering the desktop market soon.
Our current implementation paves the way for future multicore optimizations.
We can now draw nice skins within THBImage, take the chance and integrate your corporate identity into your viewer. Use your company logo as a background image.
DirectX 90c is now part of the release. But it is merely here to get some feedback from you about DirectX and hardware issues.
We hope to hear back from you about what you like or dislike.
The .Net assembly THB.THBImage2005.dll is now built with platformtype ‘x86’ instead of platformtype ‘any’ to prevent troubles when running THBImage on 64bit operating systems.
All .NET examples are now built with platformtype ‘x86’ too.
